1st Trimester – Medieval History I (9–12): The English and the Franks

This is the first of three courses that will cover several classic works of medieval history as part of the second year of a four-year sequence of college preparatory history classes. The course is designed to help students understand the interplay of literature, politics, religion, and culture within a Christian worldview.  The final grade will be based on class participation, completion of study questions, essay, and a final exam.  To facilitate class discussion, the following editions will be required:
